During our time working in the whisky industry, we’ve hosted tastings of all shapes and sizes. We are up to the challenge of presenting to rather large groups and can do it with conviviality.
I recall my first large-scale presentation at the EPCOT Food & Wine with fondness. Arriving through backstage access into the park, I was assigned a Disney Ambassador who made sure I got the right place at the right time. It was a bit hot for the suit I was sporting, but at least I didn’t have to wear a mouse costume. They got me to the room ontime, and guests were taking their seats – a whole heck of a lot of guests. There were over 200 thirsty people in that pavilion. They handed me a wireless mike, and I went to town!
